Subscription business. Organizations in consumer and business-to-business (B2B) markets globally have evolved rapidly over the past several years toward subscription-based services and related business models. Going forward, a large majority of businesses will become subscription-based businesses. I have seen this happen in the software market where we focus and in many other markets.
Technology business. So many companies across all types of business have evolved from creating their first websites to starting e-commerce sites to developing smartphone and tablet applications to building more and more critical software that uses emerging technologies like big data and artificial intelligence (AI). The organizations becoming leaders in leveraging technology will have a clear advantage in their markets.
At Ubersmith, we’re fortunate to be helping customers not only respond to these subscription and technology trends but also gaining an edge with them, whether they are software, cloud, datacenter, telco, managed services or another type of company entirely. We feel like we are at the center of these two “waves” with our software and SaaS offerings.
We have enjoyed learning more about how our customers are evolving and how they are shaping their own futures and our own futures as well as their customers.
We are highly motivated to further disrupt in-house and third-party billing software that does not handle usage-based subscriptions and turn-key billing. We are also motivated to disrupt other billing software that does not elegantly address service provider and other technology-based use cases for billing, infrastructure management and operations.
I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts regarding how our team can better serve you as a subscription business and/or a technology business. You can let us know in a comment below, on Twitter @ubersmith or @kurtodaniel or by reaching out to our team via our website.
